Xvid Distortion

i seem to be getting distortion when playing xvids in other players, other than videolan, anyone know y this is?

videolan its perfect, other its fucked...

do you have lots of codec packs installed? i think if you install more than 1 you can get some conflicts. try to see if you have more than 1 xvid codec installed, if you find you do, try to remove the older one.

re-install the codec if you have only one installed.
