Before, I've heard about the stories about Royal Mail and don't trust them as far as I can throw them. Now after today, I'm truly pissed. <_<

I woke up this morning and found my mail jammed halfway through my letterbox, in a way that they were visible by anyone going past my house and should an opportunist want to could take them without me knowing.

What's the problem with this? The top letter in the pile (i.e. the most visible) was for me from Barclays, and had the Barclays logo on it to show that. Inside was information to upgrade my Young Person's account to a Student account, and had my account details inside.

Now I'm wondering whether to complain to Royal Mail about it. My brother-in-law works for them as well so I can probably ask him about it, but as some people here have had problems with those bastards in the past what do you guys think - Think I have a reason to complain

No! Don't complain! Consider yourself lucky!

My mailman must be dyslexic or something since all my mail ends up at the wrong adress! How hard is it to differentiate between number 12 and number 16?

Serously, complain!

A lot!

There must be some kind of international mailmen plot of some sort... And picking up on The Illuminati may be the last straw...

Don't worry - We'll be making our world leaders declare war on mailmen around the world

Only problem is that it might get Bush re-elected - It'd be a justified war this time

Are you really concerned that someone might steal your mail? That's just about unheard of around here.

not in england. if you can trust it to reach your letter box a lot of houses are only a few metres away from the road so any opportunist will grab it, credit card fraud is huge over here

ID fraud is a major problem in the UK atm, leaving your Barclays bank letters sticking out your door is asking for someone to take them <_<

Especially in Liverpool :P

what'd be the point of a u.s. mailman carrying a letter all the way to england? somebody would just steal it after he puts it in the box.

maybe he knows how to put it through the box and not just hanging out. i got some stuff from my insurance the other day. the contents just fell out. Nt because the mailman opened it, he just left it in the rain <_<

im from the UK and our post was fine for years...but now they have created a new giant kinda complex on up the road from us, with lots of new houses and they all start with the same park name as us!so now our mail ends up in about 5 different houses <_< and we get people comming down every so often from the houses to deliver our mail

at least they give it to you, instead of opening it to see if its any good first

the only thing that bothers me is that when i go n check my po box sometimes there is someone elses mail... andthat shouldnt be as its right there in the post office its just matching up the damn numbers

but everything else with usps is good
