vlc is pretty good for previewing unfinished downloads.

media player classic can handle pretty much everything else.

winamp for music and cds
too slow for video though, for video it depends usually media player classic or video lan. ocassionally windows media player.

I use everything on windows media player except .ram and .mov

I use Winamp 5 for audio (with enhancer plugin), Media Player Classic for movies, and VideoLAN for unfinished files.

winamp, winamp, winamp for your audio needs. videolan + media player classic for vids. B)

bs player lives up to its name. it's a bull shit player. at least, the older version was. not sure bout recent updates. use vlc and media player classic. but i've never had a problem ever with wmp, so in my opinion, that's not too bad

Winamp for music
MPC for videos
Videolan if the file doesnt work with MPC.
