Ok so I log on to AIM and get the message: Youj are attempting to sign on to soon please sign on again later. I looked it up on google and it said I had to wait an hour for it to start again, but that wwas for mac comps. so im confused. How do I fix this?

ya i&#39;d say that too except it really doesn&#39;t matter what he wants to use it&#39;s what all his contacts use. ;)

try reinstalling it or somehting? :unsure:

Do what the message says. I&#39;d say 10 minutes would do. The more you try to sign on, the more you have to wait.

Ya well paitence is a virtue I can do with out. Tuff tho , mabye a change is needed ?

It&#39;s not going to work Spars. The reason they added that is because you have what is called a "rate limit". A rate limit, limits you to have a certain amount of IMs, warnings, sign ons, direct connections, etc, etc in a certain amount of time. Why?

Have you ever seen someone sign on and off so quickly your computer was going slowly because of AIM&#39;s crappy notifications? Or have you ever seen a bot IM you with 2000 messages making your computer really slow? Or how about being warned to 100% without having to go to anohter screenname?

That&#39;s right.. rate limit is for your own good.
