hi everyone

sorry ike if this should go in musicworld - but its more releveant here i though?

i want to rip the audio from a dvd (red hot chilli peppers live) so i can burn it to a cd to play in the car. whats the best way to do this? and which program would i need? virtualdub? tmpgenc? winrip?

has anyone done it before and ccan help?

basically, i would need to seperate the audio, convert the mp3 and burn to cd. if theyre was a program to do all the converting etc - brilliant - otherwise a guide on how to do it would be great

cheers for any help in advance

You can get a program called DVDtoAVI it will split the audio wav file seperate and also create a MV2 file which you won't need it's for the video, You could then later if you wished convert it too mp3

i did this with Finding Nemo yesterday:
DVD Decrypter to rip just the audio track
BeSweet (GUI) to rip to wav (can do to mp3, but my pc is screwy)
dBPoweramp to convert to mp3
mp3 direct cut to chop out the bit i needed.
