On Monday october 3th, the new software update MSN Messenger 7 beta got available on the internet. On top of that leak we've fount out that the new Messenger 7 full version is also available. The official release date is set for November 11th.

What's new in Messenger 7:
- Log in with a status that is set inmeddiately on Busy, Away or Offline.
- Better looking and a more intelligent interface
- WINKS: with this function you're able to kiss, send hearts or other cartoons to your contacts.
- NUDGE: with this function you're able to shake your own screen as that of your contact.
- New download packs: a couple of new games: checkers, solitaire, bejeweled, mine sweeper and Tic Tac Toe.
- ACTIVITIES: users can share files, calenders and photo's. There will also be help avaiable.
- DELUXE DISPLAY PICTURES: you'll be able to use moving avatars.

As MSN Messenger 7 goes into private beta, Neowin has learned of several exploits resulting in the "winks" feature of MSN Messenger 7. A Neowin member wishing to remain anonymous has alerted us that users can generate their own flash movies and send them across MSN Messenger. As flash movies can open other things on the system such as Internet Explorer, this could be fatal. As MSN Messenger 7 is only beta and isn't available publically this isn't a major exploit but it does show that added features to a product like this makes it less secure and more open to attack/exploit.

MSN Messenger 7 is beta and is available in copies floating around the internet. We strongly advise members not to use the current beta until this flaw has been resolved. MSN Messenger 7 effectively opens your system up to allow a hacker to run numerous tasks on your machine.

We ask members not to post any exploit code or how to exploit MSN Messenger 7, thank you.

k, I removed the DL, straight the exe aint cool as it could be anything.
Plus, Dan made a good enough point about the security also.

If some1 really feels the need to install this BETA then go for it,
I think its still available on those sites I left the addy for.

There's also the patches on www.mess.be to remove the advertising & stuff, I must admit it only lasted about 30 mins on my pc before i went back to 6.2 though

I prefer 6 to this. Im more used to it, and becasue this is a BETA, it is very buggy.

I do not use beta software, I think I will wait a bit for the full version and check it out.
