Just found this bottle of wine in my cupboard

Its Hardys Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon from South Eastern Australia. The question is though, I am not really a wine drinker, definitley not a red wine drinker but I am quite tempted to drink it as I am bored and have nothing better to do, so should I crack it open? :unsure:

I hate red wine, when I was dodging tax we used to get a bottle of 1.99 13% red wine from Threshers and drink it before going to the pub. I hated the taste of it that much I always poured it into a pint glass and downed it, spent the rest of the pre-pub time trying not to be sick.
