do you find these a threat ??

or do you dislike them just because you think that they think that they are better than you ??

is there such a thing as being too smart ?

when do you become too smart then a know-it-all ??

Smart people are cool if they share info with you so's you can understand it without feeling patronised...I can't stand being patronised

Well i'm prob better looking than them and perhaps even richer, so i'm happy :D

there's no point in being smart if the smartness doesnt make the person more successful than someone who doesnt claim to be as smart.

An example is someone on this board (he will remain nameless) claims to be more intellectual than me and yet he probabaly has a lame job, whilst i on the other hand have an expanding business thats likely to make a great deal of money :D

I can't stand being patronised Same, I'd think that goes for most people.

And there will always be smarter people out there regardless of how smart you are, even patronising ones.

Intelligence isn't all, I can think of a number of personality traits that are atleast equally important.

Quote from High fidelity:

Hey, I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I'm certainly not the dumbest. I mean, I've read books like "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" and "Love in the Time of Cholera", and I think I've understood them. They're about girls, right? Just kidding. But I have to say my all-time favorite book is Johnny Cash's autobiography "Cash" by Johnny Cash.

Love that film (haven't read the book :P )
