i have mds & mdf files they r files for a playstaion game but how do i use it to play them on an emulator? i have nero and alcohol.

MDS is an Alcohol 120% image file. MDF and MDS are like their predecessor BIN and CUE files. MDF being the actual data, and MDS being the cue file that tells the burning software what to burn. Not sure how to use it in an emulator, but I would assume you need to extract the files from the MDF file. You can probably use Alcohol to mount the MDF file, considering it is a app specific file.
