We Should Be Banding Together

Recent events and threads that I’ve been reading have got me thinking (I know unfamiliar ground). There are so many petty arguments in here at the moment and yes I’m just as responsible as the next person, but I’ve had a re-think. It was the unfortunate departure of UK Man (and I hope he reconsiders as he’ll be sadly missed) that’s triggered this, something he said about people just wanting to take all the time.

We shouldn’t be fighting with each other, there are bigger issues at stake. We’re all part of the same community, we are all here to share ideas and knowledge and we are all here supposedly to help one another. We should be drawing closer as a community and standing up for each other. Yes there’s shit going on in the world right now but we don’t need to bring it in here.

We are all here because of Kazaa, because of file sharing. We’re being attacked on all fronts from the record companies and the like. So lets stop this crap and band together and get back to why we are all in here.

Cheers man, these are really touchy times but I will say it here:

US history is predicated on freedom from Brits and all that, yet y'all are the ones who stand by us, as we do you, because we seem to hope for a truly civilized world.

I wish it never happened in the firsts place, 9-11, Iraq, the dying, any of it, but I fully support us and yours just cause I want everybody to come back alive.
