About 200-250 prob. Assuming the filesize will ave. just under 2 GB, which most of them are around 2.

'cause, you can put 3 hd in there, and currently the biggest hd is around what... 300 gb?

so 300 x 3 = 900gb DAMN! thats a lot!!!

well, considering that only 137 gb shows up from any given harddrive larger than 137, you can do the math (137*3=411). BUT, it is not limited to 3 hard drives, you can have more, so u'd need like 7 hard drives for 900 gb. but i admit it, it'd be freakin awesome if u had like 1 TB of space for ur xbox alone, that'd be so freakin awesome

This one can hold 4 hard drives, and the highest IDE hard drive go is 500gig. Thats 2TB in the xbox.

@cpt_azad, 137gig only shows up in F partion, the rest goes to G. I have a 200gig in my xbox, and all its there.

Also there is a switch on that xbox to switch from drive to drive.

mmm... actually... it's been a while since you can use more than 137gb on a hd... trust me.. at the moment im enjoying my 250gb maxtor hd... :cool:

i know, but for that configuration (to divert power and channel it to support either one of the 3 hdd's). but i'm sure there are a million ways around it so, ya ur rite, 900 gb of freedom :D . total waste of money? feck no, atleast that's what i think, once i get the money and a good config plan for the setup, hello 1 TB.

I have 125gigs of xbox games, i know i can do more. Then i have 50gigs of movies and misc. If i kept all of it, i would need alot more space. I would atleast need 1TB for each year. Thats is, if i never deleted anything, but i do.

true, considering you didn't delete anything, i'm running low i can tell u that (it's a 160 gb harddrive that i have on the xbox rite now), i have like 4 gb free :angry:

quick question... does defragmentation takes longer in bigger hds???
it takes a copuple of hours on my 60gb hd (pc).... and im womdering how much would it take to defragment my xbox' 250 hd... must be a pain in the ass...

You dont have to defragment a xbox drive. The format is differant from pc, dosent get fragmented. ;)

Do a search they were talking about it somewheres, they said even if it needed it there isnt a program to do it. Probly run Linux and do it.
