Me and my flatmate just decided to tidy and hoover our living room.

God knows when we last did but I find a new civilization behind the sofa, bloody things were throwing rocks at me while I tried to hoover them up

In my house the mice are invading, now winter is coming.

Even with two cats prowling, average 1 dead mouse per cat a day, there is no

stopping.

Poisoning is no option.

Once the mice leave in spring, the Ants invade.

I learn to live with it/them.

Have you ever thought of living indoors?

My room is a state at the moment.

The Foster's cans have set up their own nation state in one corner of the room and keep trying to invade my bed at night. :fugley:

:D We are having lots of flies around here. Fall has arrived and they are trying to get inside where it is warm. I sit on the couch, (and you are right, couches do grow whole civilizations under them) with computer in lap and flyswatter in hand.

Hmmm flies are what made us do the cleaning today.

I found some binbags down our back stairs to the garden thing that had been there for an undeterminable period of time

They are annoying. And I will be damned if the darn things don't sense it when you are holding a flyswatter. I lay my flyswatter down and they attack, I pick it up in my hand and they stay four feet away just a waiting until I lay it down again!!!!!

:D

Dan is in much the same position as you, sitting on the couch with computer on his knees .. but I don't think that's a fly swatter he has in his hand :o

I do wish he wouldn't leave his webcam on

:D Oh well, to each his own...... am hoping he keeps the sticky off the computer keys. .......... That just might draw the flies. :D

You may well be right, it's probably half the reason for the civilisation behind the sofa too ;)

Oh well, then what is another tool. Bring on the shampooer, although I suppose one could wait until everything dried and then the hoover would suffice. Have been thinking. Why would a hoover attachment not work as good as a flyswatter? Just swat those flies down to the bag live. But then there would be the noise to put up with I suppose. ;)
