counter strike help

i'm having a problem with counter strike when i move my mouse it jumps all over the place. i didn't change any settings at all. i can play cz fine. i have no ****ing idea whats wrong

try changing the mouse sensitivity in the CS options.

Are there like many patches that solve this problem? Id prolly try what dinner123 said, or check some forums and see if some people have the same problem.
