I have a really nasty cough, apart from offering to rub Vicks on my chest can anybody offer any advie on how I can make it better??? prefereably natural as I don't like taking pharacuiticals.

If the steam doesn't clear things up, try swimming at least 5 laps in an olympic size pool.
It's an excellent way to improve your respiration, and it'll clear out the crap from smoking.

Best advice Brenda, drink Orange juice but try not to swallow it, let it run dow your throat if you can, it sooths and lackers your throat, but you must get a good one, none of this cheap shit :dry:
