What are Codecs? Codecs are ways of how to compress a movie and how to see a compressed movie.

You have downloaded a film and it won't play properly?

Then there is a useful tool called GSpot (http://gspot.headbands.com). This tool show you with which Codecs the movie you want to see was compressed.

VLC, available from http://www.freeapps.co.uk/apps/vlc has all the codecs you'd ever need built in, and it's an excellent media player too!

the best... (free) codec pack is ... CCCP (http://www.cccp-project.net/)
the pack comes with player no 1... WMPlayer Clasic...
Combine this with COREAVC & Ac3Filter... and you're good to go... and download thousands of TB

(just my opinion)
