How can I make the website for my webcomic, Justiceman, more professional looking? One thing I already know I need to do is get a better logo.

Suggestions, please?!

http://www.justiceman.tk

Thanks very much,
DSF

gr8 website dude.....just wondering did u make those comics strips???

Also i have one suggestion,
you know da navigation on da left side, the last one..with da face....Your Content page seemed kinda dark to me. It has dark reddish background with black font....it can be hard to read text at some stage or another.... Your both background and font are dark color.....So try changin either background to lighter color or change the font color to somethin light. Try doing that.....

Rest seems to be a gr8 website.
Good work mate :-)

Cheers :-)

Thanks very much for the compliment!!! Yes, it is my comic strip (I made it myself along with my friend).

make your navigation pics more professional, but keep them childish\silly. And the bar on the left that they are in should be colorful and kool.

try to get your poll to be on teh front page, and after voting it shows the results to you. (again on the home page).

With the service I use, I can't do that. Do you know of a free service that can do this?

I don't know php. Is there a free script or something that I can just post on my page mindlessly and control via a control panel or something? :)

no.

not sure how to make a poll. Try searching google for php scripts or something and you should find an example.

edit: here's something else that looks interesting to add: http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=83591

Thanks for the suggestions, but I can't see it being very useful within the context of my site.

Can you please tell me what you think of this logo I made? Is it any good? Should the M be curved instead of straight?

Thanks once again,
David

It should be working fine. www.justiceman.tk has a list of 3 mirrors. Currently, 2 of the 3 are working.

If you've visited my site before, go again and Shift-Reload. That may fix the problem.

Thanks that worked. Maybe you should use a different program to illustrate, such as Adobe Illustrator, and use a different program for your animation, like Flash, then you'd be roxing. And also get a stylus so you can illustrate better.

Thanks for the tips. I've got a few questions, though.

1) By animation, do you mean the side paneL?

2) What do you mean by a stylus? You mean like illustrating on paper and transferring it to the pc? I'm not sure what you're talking about.

Looks kinda un-professional. I would recommend Photoshop or some more advanced software.

even if it's cheesy-looking
