There are so many P2P programs out there and they are oh so good! But I dont want to download and install all of them!

Im very proud of the improvement of P2P programs and their speed. We need just two P2P programs though. One should be Bittorrent and the other should have all combined P2P programs that has the capability to use different networks. I like to keep it simple. Of course spyware free.

All we need is a person who is willing to run and program the software :D

Well, there goes enterprise and imagination - straight out of the window and all those wonderful people developing software in their attics can go outside to play in the fresh air!!!

Why not make it all one app. it can include all of the features and networks of the major p2p apps plus torrent fuctionality. :)

edit: I think that fake files would spreead too easily that way though.

Shareaza connects to G1,G2, eDonkey 2000 networks, eMule connects to eDonkey 2000 and kad too.

I say just install all of them p2p apps, Why not? They only take like a few megs max. Just watch out for the spyware infested ones. Always look for clean/opensource alternatives.

Wasn't the idea of Swapgate to try and combine all networks? What happened to that? You got it, crashed and burned. Did they even get it past the beta stage?

Emule and Suprnova are my top 2.

Kazaa doesnt cut it anymore.. too much curruption that the other two never have.

It's better to keep them all separate. It makes it much harder for them to be shut down. In fact... The more the better.

That is so true. Maybe just have a few clients that connect across just 1 other network to help spread files. i.e: files can go through

Overnet -> eDonkey2000 network using edonkey

EDonkey2000 -> Kad using Emule and can also to to g1/g2 using Shareaza .
