The Lounge is "spam central" nothing that's posted in the Lounge should be counted/recorded/remembered...if you're not prepared to forget everything you see/hear/read in the Lounge you should'nt go in there...

This whole place is a document to people's lives, you wanna know when Yogi was last sick or Mathea got a new job or Bo passed his driving test, Cheese went to Reading, SD to America,Skweeks met Marc and moved in together, there's thousands of facts of peoples lives among the chit chat, in fact I would dare say this is like a massive Diary :)

It bugs me that people diss the lounge so readily (usually people who don't really post there). After all this is easily the most popular section of the whole forum, a good percentage of the members of this forum come here for the lounge.

if they are going to have post count discrimination then why dont they just remove all visible reference to the amount of posts. Everybody entering the Forum for the first time would then be on an 'equal' footing and not frightened to post where they see a member has a large post count.:)
