Gimme a good Anime Series

I have only ever liked one Anime Series, Cowboy bebop, now that I've finished every episode I'm looking for a new one. Does anyone here have a good series for me? Thanks!

I really like Inuyasha, but it wasn't on Saturday. I'm sure what CN ran was pretty good, but I wanted to see Inuyasha.

I also liked Ronin Warriors, Tekken: The Motion Picture, Wolf's Rain, Ghost In The Shell, Witch Hunter Robin, and Vampire Hunter D.

mike45450 is right, Champloo is really awesome, friends of mine who don't like anime dig that series.

for movies, if you go to dbgt .com and sign up on their forums, they have episode/movie (not only db) for direct dl under media section.


don't do more than one at a time though.. they will block your ip.

Of the ones already said, Trigun, Samuari Champloo, Gungrave, Love Hina & again, Ghost in the Shell 1,2 & SAC. BLEACH (Definitley a good series), Full Metal Alcehmist, Dragonball (first series is way better than DBZ or DBGT. However i still like DBZ, but except for the OVA, DBGT pretty much sucks.

Bleach is turning out pretty well, funny and serious at the same time. I only have the first 9 eps (I think that's all that is available currently). Ichigo is the man, Rukia is a great character, I like the whole shinigami angle.

Curious to see where they go with it, since a couple characters have been introduced and not brought back yet.

If you liked that, you should give the uncut version of Gantz a try as well (unless you already have ^^). Can be a problem to get hold of tho, have only seen the first four eps subbed of the uncut version.

Okay I have seen eps 1-5, and you're right, not the easiest series to get ahold of. Using klite and irc, still only have 11 eps. Thus far it is good, interesting, odd plot line (which I love), and kind of reminds me of a very serious Furi Kuri. Then again I was told the entire series gets more bizzare past episode 11 and into the second season.

Also if you haven't seen Samurai Champloo, do so, the next portion starts in January I think.

well, I have seen the cut version up to episode 24 and it does indeed go even more bizzare ^^ But the uncut version is only fansubbed up to ep four I think (ep four was released late november)
Have only seen gantz project release it, and their version is very well done in mkv format (just looking at the fansub part, it's actually one of the best fansubs I've seen (layout-wise)).

I suppose it ain't easy to get on k-lite (haven't used it myself in uhm must be 1,5 years ago). irc should be easier, but I have to say bittorrent, head over to www.baka-updates.com and search for gantz ^^ should be good for irc as well.

Rurouni kenshin OVA 1-5 and a few others are good if you like REALLY emotional sad sorta bloody kinda stuff.. :)

Finished Gunslinger Girl. Interesting and really beautifully drawn, with yet another anti climactic anime ending. Not that it was a bad ending, it wasn't, just not much to say considering how amazing and violent other parts of the series are. Plus, killer 7 year old girls?

Is there a undub version of Rurouni Kenshin? I keep downloading the DUB version. I hate anime that's been dub...it ruin the anime completely. The voice actors are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad.

I hated Noir, I thought it was sooo slow.

I just got finished watching one called Fruits Basket. It was pretty funny. I liked it. Got it off boxtorrents.

Right now I've downloaded InuYasha season 1-5, Excel Saga, Escaflowne Series, My Hime, kiddy grade, bleach and Kodomo No Omocha

haha. I've downloaded around 60 GB of anime within the week before I leave school and its badass connection. My ratios are crazy too. I'm at about 1.6-2.3 on the sites i'm going to. its crazy that i can upload 90-100gb and download 60 in one week. that's a huge amount of traffic....

as long as they don't mind i'm happy ;)

Like others said before me, Samurai Champloo might catch your interest. It has similarities to Cowboy Bebop. I always thought Mugen kind of had the same hair style as Spike.

I would definitely say Berserk is just an amazing anime start to finish. gungrave is also a great story, .hack//sign has flashes of brilliance, but is to caught up in its own story and gets really boring at points. Champloo is incredibly done, but in terms of perfection, Bebop is it, i don't know if i could recommend anything better than Bebop

Well as a 3 year old update.. I did watch a few of the series mentioned in this thread. Although I must admit, alot of these ideas are more of the kid shows on cartoon network that I had zero interest in.
