Two computers on same dial up

Can I use both my laptop and desktop at the same time on my dial up connection on the same phoneline with the same account and everything, like when you have two phones on one line and can use them both to call someone else.

One of the computers may have to be the Gateway with the internet connection and you'll need maybe a couple of "Bridged NIC's" or a "Parallel Cable" unless you have a router I suppose :cool:
