At the old board there was an option to use [s] tags to make the font appear with a line through it.

Is there an option to have it on this VB board, please.

A simple yes or no answer will do, if the answer is yes then could the respondant also please indicate if it will be implemented. Thanks for the consideration.

I thought I seen a thread regarding this earlier but I must have been mistaken.

Searching google it says to use [strike] or [s] on others but none seem to work. :(

yes, Use [ strike ]

Excellent. Thanks, Ross :D

Edit: Ah, it appears not to work :(
Edit2: I see your edit now. Maybe it needs to be enabled by admin, then.

edit: too much editing going on.

btw, i never did figure out how to use the strike tags when we had IPB either (although i didn't look that hard).

Maybe they have to be manually programmed.

Which given the new fan-dabby-dozy VB console should be simple.

It comes as standard on IPB boards...

I hope it doesn't have to be manually programmed here else we will be waiting until half-past never.

I thought I seen a thread regarding this earlier but I must have been mistaken. Yeah there was a thread but the admins couldnt do it so they deleated it i think:dry:. It requires coding or a mod or something as its not VB standard. [s]And as krohn can do it im sure it would only take him like a few minutes...let me pm him.... ohh wait you can't!

£10 says this thread is gone in an hour as well:dry:.

/me waits for teh banage.

That thread's in the Lounge. Either it was started there or was banished.

Since it directly concerns the board, this one should stay.

Indeed it was, I've just found it here (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=83889).

It is unanswered by any team member so I can only assume it was moved to the lounge by mistake. You're right, Emdee, this thread should stay since it clearly concerns the board.

Yeah.
why did it got moved?

I was kinda hoping in getting a serious answer by someone of the team,or a member.
I wanted to know if VB uses another tag for this or if a tag could be made?

There was no reason for moving my thread to the lounge.
There was no spam in it,nor did it get an definite answer.
But since it happened it would've be nice if there would be a redirect here at 'EATB'

Whoaaaaaaaaaa you asked a serious question time for this hread to be locked with no comment, then someone to make another one....then get banned and with the current new members i'd say your down 1 and up none.

Its one of the unwriten rules of FST. Don' ask any serioous questions or topic will be locked. Don't call admins by there first names or names they used for previous account's or be banned.....

Thanks, IKE.

So you've confirmed that at present we cannot use the strikeout code.

Is there a way that it can be implemented to a VB board?
