that if i've d/loaded a movie that is mpeged I can just burnit straight to disc with Nero and it will be ready to watch on my DVD player,I have done this with one film but am wondering if this is just a one off. :)

Depends on the dvd player, if it plays both mpeg 1 & 2. It should tho.
