I have my xbox in peices thanks to my mod, still working the kinks outta pictures, but the main problem is that the power board, has aobout a 2 inch wire, and what I wanted to do was desolder the normal switches and resolder a new cooler one. But I was a little weary because thes switches only had 2 solder points, the standard had four. MY friend opened up an old cd rom drive to find the exact same buttons wiith 4 solder points so we tested it there. It worked with only 2 so I went home and warmed up the soldering iron. Now Im in a bind, i think I may have fucked up the board, and all I can do now is turn on the power not open the dvd tray, but I found a work around.

There is a 9 wire thing that conects from the mobo to the power pcb and If i can find out what wires what I could solder strait to it. Help me guys.

All you have to do is solder one point to the eject point on the board and the other to the power on point on the board, its quite simple. The switch workson a grounding basis, when the point is grounded the xbox ejects/powers on, test each point your self with a screw driver to find which on is the eject and power.

i would have a pic of them but i cant find it at the moment.
