Router Connection Problems with Gaming

i just finally set up my 2 computers to hook up to my DSL with a router but whenever me and my friend try to play counter-strike on a server together or a seperate server we get connection problem errors and we cant seem to play counter-strike together... any ideas?:no:

dunno what port that uses, but you probably need to forward it to the pc you are using

I'd guess maybe both computers are trying to use the same port? Is it possible to change the port counter strike uses on one of your computers?

k, are both pcs in the same house playing CS? or is it you at your house, a mate at anothers?

in the options/menus is there anything to do with "port" under connection settings/server settings, anything like that?
