i use ipswitch WS FTP pro. dunno why, just always used it, and i like it. Pretty darn simple also.

The FTP client that comes with Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004, is simple and wonderful. Cute FTP also works pretty good, but I prefer the Dreamweaver one, it Roxors.

CuteFTP and WS_FTP are great.

The built-into-windows one works fine and is very easy to use. But it lacks in features.

Windows has a built-in-ftp client?
ya.

just type the adress into internet explorer (ftp://ftp.whatever.com) or go to my network places and click add net work place and add the ftp site+login\password

it's basically just an explorer window. easy to use. :)
