Corrupted Dungeon Seige File

:blink: i d/l both iso's for dungeon seige and the 1st one burned ok but the 2nd wouldnt burn... i said ok and used undisker to put both iso's unpacked on muh HD ... that worked for the installation... now i dont know if its just the iso or what but i keep getting a corrupted terrain.dsres file if someone could help me by telling me how to use these iso's correctly or maybe post a working file of this so i can access it from k-lite i would be ever so grateful

There's a verified post for Dungeon Siege in the verifieds. However, as some have found out, Kazaa's disc images often are corrupt. eMule is a lot better for getting disc images.

Hold up, I had the same problem.
You gatta play with the graphics settings in the game (it crashes on certain textures on some machines (yea, even with the damn original cd copy). I think u lower the texture quality a little.. that will get rid of the error which crashes the game. I played Dungeon Siege for awhile, sorta got bored of it when i was like 50% of the game.

Don't matter if you configure e-mule out correctly. Mine is set perfect and most the time the download only comes in at 2-12 kb/s if it comes in at all. I would get overnet as its still connecting to the same resources that e-mule is connecting at.................. there are still problems with overnet but unlike e-mule I actually got some big files with it.

Another suggestion is using direct connect

positives:
always good downloads and verified files. so if it says dog then its a dog.
can find anything on direct connect. I got Alien 3 pretty fast and you can't get that off Kazaa anytime soon.

negetives:
client will kick you off for image files, porn with certain key workds and most don't like mp3's
need to share at least 30 gig of stuff (good stuff as it checks not the windows directory) to be allowed on the best hubs.
can be slow, the avrage speed is about 12 kb/s though if you search you can get up to 50 kb/s I got C&C generals and iron storm in one night. Others were kinda slow but the point is that I do get the files and in good shape.

Mirc: i herd it was great for downloading files. now to figure out how to use it.
