Thanks for the well wishes, lads

We won 4-1. Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored all four

For the first goal he celebrated in the corner that you can see in the pic below, 'cause I was so close to the goal/celebration it was a touching moment for me - in a non-sexual way. At least I think it was non-sexual

Things got pretty hectic in the pub before the match too, why can't all pubs be full of Man Utd supporters.

Thanks, Manker, but playing right is exactly what they don't at the

moment....

The team has potentially brilliant players, but they have lost their heads.

Even i find it hard to watch.

But, hey, i can still enjoy Ruud van Nistelrooij, Roy Makaay(playing for

Bayern.... and the tremendous job Frenk Rijkaard and Henk Ten Cate

have pulled off with Barcelona.:D (saw that goal of Ronaldino???:w00t: )

And i can't wait to see AZ-Auxerre tonight, cos they are the revelation

of the dutch competition. Thanks to Co Adriaanse(former AjaxCoach) they

play the way Ajax should play.:01:

And!!!! After trying twelve times, it seems PSV will survive the CL first

round!!! Even leading over Arsenal in their group.....:w00t:

I must admit to not having seen an Ajax game for ages, it would be a shame if their tactics had changed because their training methods were considered the model for perfect football a while back - even if they did have to sell all of their best players sooner or later :(

I have watched PSV tho', they are impressive. I quite fancy them to get at least a point against Arsenal - they are also in a difficult group. By comparison Man Utd's group is pretty easy, I think.

Ronaldino's goal was excellent, as are Barcelona this season. I watched them stuff Celtic without breaking sweat at Parkhead - to think they almost sacked Rijkaard a year ago

Ajax didn't change tactics. Koeman lost his grip on this group.

I just love the fact Rijkaard managed to get Barça playing.

But don't underestimate Ten Cate's(assistent-coach) influence, he is a

brilliant coach and a great communicator and has way more experience than

Rijkaard, who didn't invite him for his good looks...........

Did you see that pass of Cocu btw and the way Beasly received and

scored???:w00t:

Yeah, I probably am guilty of under estimating Ten-Cate's influence as I'd never heard of him  Who did he use to train/manage?

I never thought Rijkaard would make it as a coach, he seemed almost aloof as a player and had a suspect temperament. Looking back it seemed as if Guillet was going to be the one out of that great team to succeed as he came across as more cerebral. Perhaps he still will.

Rijkaard has done well tho' - even if it is only to listen to the good advice he's been getting off Ten-Cate wrt tactics and man management. Barca are excellent to watch this year and at the end of last.

Btw, what PSV game was the Cocu pass in?

Unfortunately your information is pretty much spot on.

I live a good 4 hour bus ride away from the Stadium, the taxi was to get me to the bus stop :D

Btw, United have so many fans dotted around the country because they rawk, I get to see Cardiff City maybe once a month too - but it's not the same

He was famous for getting teams back on track...........

Rijkaard a suspect temperament???

He has allways been one of the most friendly players around.......:)
(though not afraid of a "functional " deathtackle or push....:1eye: )

You didn't mean that spitting incident with Völler, did you.......??:01:
--------------

Gullit is more celebrity than cerebral. IMHO he hasn't shown anything as

a coach and won't. Maybe his fame-dust will make Feijenoord perform

above average for a while, but it will wear off.:(

Same is happening with Koeman at Ajax now.:crying:
