Cable Modem Light

I just notice when i was play quake3 that my green light on my modem where it says Data: is flashing like crazy making my game lagg or slow down in other words... OK but also when i dont have the game up it still flashes like crazy I never seen my Data Light on the modem flash like that... I dont have any thing downloading or Kazaa up... What you guys think this might be? :unsure:

A program may be running in the background and is accessing the internet. Possibly a trojan?
Hit control+alt+del and see what programs are running. Although, this may not show any trojan programs running.
Firewalls are great for things like this. I'm running ZoneAlarm Pro(got the keygen off Kazaa, nudge nudge, wink wink). It tells you what & when any program is accessing the internet, and, lets you allow it or not.
ZoneAlarm is available here (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/home.jsp). The shareware version is on the lower right side of page.

Oh, and Quake3 itself may be accessing the internet as well.

No, Trojan or Unknown ports open, I already called my ISP and made an appointment to come check it out... hope they fix the prob. my websurf is slow az hell...

lolz... u just prob have alot of files running or the game is umm a little tooo intense for ur modemn :P
