Hotmail not working

hey..need serious help..my friend's PC is screwed in a wierd way...anything to do with MSN remotely has stopped working...not hotmail.com, msn.com and majorly no MSN messenger..which is infact killing her...the rest of the internet works perfectly fine...i made her check the HOSTS but no entry there..it s a blank file..so any suggestions..

I got disconnected from MSN about an hour ago, and no matter what, I can't get back in.

It just says Signing in...
...and the little guys keep spinning round and round.

Until it times out.

At the moment, I'd just say the servers in my part of the world are down.
If it's still like that tomorrow, then I'll get worried.

Has this happened to anyone else today?

just a shame that lots of people cant actually connect to it.

I'm having probs with hotmail also. I can not access it either threw my msn msg or threw the web page...It compeltly freezes my IE up and firefox says the page can not be found. :(
Its been like this sence yesterday. I uninstalled msg and reinstalled it and its still acting up. Anyone else having a problem or know how I can fix this? :helpsmili

hey ppl...i dont think the Messenger servers being down is the prob. coz even their sites dont work in IE ..i know that the messenger server is messenger.hotmail.com so basically the domain remains as hotmail.com...im guessing there is some kind of ad/spy/malware..i'll make her run hijackthis and see wht comes up..
