Hey,

Just wonderin which video card should i buy:
ATI 9600 PRO Video Card 256 MB DDR
OR
nVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 LE 256MB DDR 8X AGP

and YES this would be for gammin purposes!

Any help will be appriciated.

Dont get the LE. LE is missing certain features that would really incease playing ability.

Get the 9600 Pro for sure.

Of the two cards you mentioned the 9600 Pro is certainly the better card. Both of those cards are in this REVIEW (http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphic/20041004/index.html).

You would probably be better going for a 2nd hand Radeon 9700\GeForce FX 5800 or higher though.

No the actual cost of ATI 9800 Pro card is: Can $349.00 and US $290.00, may be u r mistaken with some other card.
