The Next GTA Series Thread

Now that GTA:SA is out, whats next?

If there was a new GTA comming out in the distant future what would it be called, and where would it be located?

Heres some of my suggestions:

-England ( London )
-Early 1950's to 1960's (Mafia)
-China
-Australia

I think having a old time mob GTA would be cool.
But if one came out for London that would be just as cool.

What do you think?

Well i think the next one will be about the war with iraq and you are a soldier trying to fight the americans.this game would be so cool!you could capture american soldiers and cut thier heads off.

Another great idea is to be an afican villager then someone kills your people and you try to take over africa. hahaha

Back when there were SA rumours, there was one about Japan. That might be good

well, i would just expect a bigger place, maybe 5 cities? ps2 is gonna have 50 gig dvd isnt it? so the next gta can be huge! combine gta3, vicecity, and san andreas you got 10 gigs there...so yeh, more depth and better graphics.

They should add the ability to really trash/blow up anything you want :cool:

1. japanese mafia GTA next... real slick character who builds up a rep and higher standing in the buisness.. He gets thrown around a few and has many obsticals to conquer.
Only problem: A bunch of japanese speakin english.


2. Russian mafia... ahh slick and dirty. Plus lots of snow and fun.

3. Sicily! The baddest boys on the planet... what true gansters are made of.

But everything would have to respawn eventually.. maybe you should see people actually try and repair the buildings after awhile and the biggest places take 3-4 days to finish. (ehh.. would be annoying to have reality of a few years)

Hmm i too heard rumours that it will take place in japan. I also want it to be modern.

GTA 3 was the modern game.

I'd like to see the next one set in the 70's.

Then again Tommy as a peace loving, pot smoking hippy might not be all that entertaining.

I'd like a 1930s set like the godfather. but they might seem too much like the game MAFIA. i mean the cars would be pretty shit so i doubt they would go that far
