what i want to know is are there any extra charges with xbl, such as does it cost me to make a screenname, do i have to pay if i join certain rooms, do u have to pay for any downloadable content? just what i will have to pay for, i know i have to buy the starter kit and all of that. any insight is appreciated, halo 2 just isnt as fun when it's only one person playing.

Everything is free once you pay for the subscription.

Everything I ever got was free. Maybe some small stuff will have a fee. But thats rare.

Splinter Cell Pandora Tommarow you have to pay $5 for 2 multpilyer maps, witch they called "premium downloads." The maps wernt even worth it. ;)
