when you get up all happy, take a shower, get dressed, jump in the car and find out your battery is dead? I tried to call the local tow truck, he does jump starts, but he's out of town for a few days :( Guess I'll have to wait until 4:00 when dawn gets home now.

Can't your neighbour give you a push?

nobody around, I live on a quiet residential street. I'm sure all I need is a jumpstart. I have too much crap hooked up to my battery ( Radar detector, Neons, anti-theft alarm) It does this from time to time when I haven't driven it in a few days. I need to remember to unplug the radar on the weekends I'm off.

no neighbors home, and its an automatic transmission, no clutch :(

what I should have is a booster-charger. Last one I had only worked once, so I threw it out and never replaced it.

 thats not too good.

Is that like a little add-on to the battery?

no, battery charger with jump also. about $50.00 for one.

Ah, kk, quite a handy thing to have, but if it only works once$50 is a bit steep.

Or is meant to work more than once and you were just unlucky before?

Well, my father has had his for about 10 yrs. I was quite unlucky before, it was about 1 yr old, and I had only used it once. Warrenty had expired.

Warrenty had expired.

Thats always the way, normally just a few days after too :(

I think sometimes they do it on purpose :shifty:

either way, If I would unplug the radar detector, I wouldn't have this problem. Dawn might be coming home early though. I told her my battery was dead, and she thought I was talking about the damn cell phone :P

I have 2 of those chargers. One quite new and a really old one.

Too bad I can't send a jump start via the internet. ;)

You'll have to come up with a way to do that ;) everything worked out though, My girlfriend came home early, and we jumped it off. I have to be more careful on my long weekend off.

just a question...is it any more pleasing when it happens without all this?

Well, I was quite excited to go out somewhere, and found out I couldn't go. Kinda makes it alot worse on your nerves.
