half life 2 internet activation

hi there boys and girls

ive pre-ordered it for tomorrow to arrive early in the morning - but ive heard you have to activate it before you can run the game.

soooooo...............

does anyone know when you can activate it? ie if it arrives really early am i gonna have to wait till a certain time (9am? 12pm?) till i can play it?

I think you'll be able to activate it after 8 am so you should be ok.

i duno where i heard this but supposebly if u activate it before it comes out u wont be able to play it again because steam will "assume" that u have a pirated version of HL2..

(im not 100% sure)

but its better to be safe than sorry...
but u can still play single player ;)
