We could best solve your problem if you were more specific with your problem. Chances are you haven't downloaded the DivX codec that's why you won't get any video. Go to http://www.divx.com/divx/index.php
and download the plain old DivX (not the pro version) unless you can remove Gator and GAIN from your system.

Seriously it is almost certainly a codec problem. The last 5,627 similar posts have been.

Download the latest K-Lite codec pack.

Uninstall all old codecs / packs - this is important to avoid conflicts.

Install the new one. This will almost certainly clear up your problem, if it's what I think it is.
