i used kazaa and soulseek but kazaa sucks and soulseek is not always the best one searching for singles.

eMule has probably singles. Also full albums packed in rar file.

Kazaa probably still works OK, I dont know for 100% sure,
but last time I used it I found the few singles really fast.
I needed them for "reference", hehe.
I think the main thing is to try different approaches whilst searching,
both different apps and different keywords.

Bittorrent and mIRC googe for full albums but not reliable if you are just looking for singles.
