Yes, we are all well in our new winterhome, 3 miles from here.

The guineapigs and the rabbit moved too, the cats stay at our summerplace

for now.

We even have a small aquarium again, with our favorite fishes(pics on request)!!

Though a lot of things work(ed) bad in the mobile home, it is wonderfull.

And the maintenence guy comes really quick when we need him.:)

I really miss internet there, but it has it's upsides; more time for other stuff.
-------------------------

Since my digital tv thingy doesn't get signal there, i bought a sattelitedish

this week. It was on sale at some do-it-yourself supermarket.

Took me some time to assemble the dish, it hardly had directions with it....

All proud i succeeded in building the dish properly, i searched a place where

i could find decent signal.

A really big pole deep in the ground close to our neighbors dish should make

it easy to point it in the right direction.

But bummer; it took me ages.......

Once i had signal, it was bliss. Sooo many shitty channels to choose from...:w00t: (573 tv-channels, 280 radio..........)

But big fav is the Travelchannel!!!:D

And for nighttime TVBerlin.........:whistling

But yesterday it turned out i placed the dish where it wasn't allowed!!!
(asshole neighbors...)

Have to start tuning allover........:(
---------------------

We take prozac over to our small caravan every other day, so he can roam

the camping he knows. If we can't catch him by daylight, he mostly walks in

our neighbors caravan, who calls us, so can can come pick him up...:01:
(ohhh, sweet neighbor..........)

----------------------

Really great about the new place is also i can use my oven/grill and deepfry

pan again. At the summerplace the fuses blow up from that......

So i can make french fries again!!!!:)

----------------------

But best of all is still the warmth!!!:01:

Less pain in my joints, back and muscles.

And Fre doesn't have to walk around with two sweaters...........:P

Warm Greetz,

Yogi

Hi, Yogi :D

Glad to hear of the upsides but they seem equally compensated with the downsides - I know you're positive enough to get thro' that tho' :D

Your neighbour is an arse, what does it matter with him where you put your dish. Be satisfied that in taking it down your karma > his karma.

Are you any nearer to getting t'interweb to make an appearance in the winter palace? I'd go a bit stir crazy if I couldn't get online a couple of times a day to read mad folk's ideas. Say hi to Fre :D

Hi, Manky!!:D

You are right. Though the asshole neighbor is a she. An American lesbian.

(The kind that married the wrong man and blames all men for that.....:P )

She was disturbed by the fact my dish was lightgrey, instead of the black all

others have........ People...........

I think no chance of internet, unless i want to do it through sattelite......

Way too expensive, esp. since Fre still hasn't found a new job.

(Our animals alone cost more than i make..... )

So i sit here, freezing cold, but internet.

No water, so i have to take bottles with me to make coffee......

And yes, i am mostly positive, though this time of year is allways a little

harder............

But as long as there is Fre, there is hope and happiness!!

(Says hi back....)

Good to see you're getting yourself organized. Pity about t'inteweb tho'. Can't you even get dial-up for reading forums and stuff.

The great thing about a place like this is you get to see how other people live. The idea of a summer and winter homes is very strange to me. Is it purely a practical thing, because of the cold winters.

I think he mentioned something about Bones, or Boner...

:P

We bought the caravan because we had to live somewhere, after being evicted

from our last house.

With the intention of having a regular house by now.

But we just don't want to go back, so we decided to rent another place for

the winter, cos it is too cold and humid in the place we bought.

(I have reumanoid arthritis, amongst other things.....)

It is hardly practical btw, all the moving, stuff in two places, etc.

But we feel privileged, cause it is sooo beautifull and quiet here!!!:)

(Also a good training in case we 'll emigrate to Portugal.....)

Some of our friends cannot imagine living like this.

But most see what we see and love coming over, though more then two

guests are a crowd here:lol: .......

It's a disaster.

Everything is upside down, the government sucks, all nice people want to

emigrate, an extreme rightwing party(now 1 seat) would get 24 seats in

parliament and allover the world press wonders what happened to that sweet

little tolerant country.

And on top of that police still finds time to put effort in restricting

coffeeshops!!!:crying:

Just found out my fav. coffeeshop is on a leash of 5 grams a customer,

wich makes it way too expensive for me to go there(40 miles....), like i

used to..........

Once "my country" is no more.......:(

But, hey, i got Fre!!! My personal prozac!!

Its not like they're doing Razzias on all muslim homes
and
asking for identification to all immigrants on the streets

or ?

Theo was indeed a provokateur and directly insulted the muslim coomunity
i watched the submission vid - which is actually very boring - but obviously Quoting the Koran and showing a naked (clothed) muslim woman is banally putting your middle finger up to the muslim comunity
no need to kill him (especially that way)
but worse still is the "Dutch" burning the Mosquees which only prooves that there was some an empregnated hate towards that communitee just waiting for a release.....

No, no razzias.

And the movie was very friendly compared to some of the stuff Theo wrote in

his collumns.........

And about the "hate"; i think it is fear.

Heated up by the recent events in the world.

But it is indeed a strange time......

Being an old hippy at heart, your summer house lifestyle seems idyllic. But since I became older and took on the responsibilities of the modern world, kids, car, house, blah blah....I have lost touch with that side of me...unless I am stoned faceless of course!

I hope you deal with the uptight bitch next door, and get things sorted out.

Then you and Fre can be snug as bugs in a rug and have your telly too! perfect! :)

That's why i leased kids, never bought a house, still smoke pot at 45, etc.....

And yesterday i ignored the bitch and placed the dish back at the forbidden

place.

I love living at a remote place, but without internet i need some telly indeed!!

And the snugging bit: Yeah!!!:01:
