It used to be the fastest but not anymore, it only does 222 mph there&#39;s at least 10 cars now that can go faster. The Bugatti Veyron 16/4 nails it hands down with a top speed of 253.75mph, 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds and a 1001 hp.

Merlin-It&#39;s either a Shelby or a clone; not difficult to find repro parts to do a clone. I&#39;ve done LOTS of these-probably my all-time fave.
I&#39;ve owned upwards of 30 &#39;Stangs and worked on/built many more-Shelbys, too.
Currently sitting on a large pile of Shelby Cobra engine/drivetrain parts; someday find the right sheetmetal to wrap it in.

By the way-does anyone remember the mid-60&#39;s SC427 A.C. Cobra? THAT was a CAR&#33;&#33; B) B)

BTW-sequential taillights were standard on the Shelby. The one it your pic is &#39;67-&#39;68 vintage. Taillights were indeed pirated from a T-Bird.
