I'm trying to preview the film and although i can hear it there is no picture.

I download the basic kazaa codec package but was wondering whether i needed anything else to view this film its has a XVID codec but the codec pack says it has this.

Can some one help please

It has just about every codec you'll ever need. What are you using to preview?

I have about 20 mins worth of the film but can only hear the sound

I'm assuming that you have audio only without installing the codec pack. Installing K-Lite Codec Pack should solve that. Just remember to reboot before uninstalling old codecs, and reboot again before installing the pack.

dude before u start installing unistallin thing al over the place

goto control panel then audio&sound devices click the hardware tab,look
down the list and click video codecs the properties
it will list every codec on ur comp
if u don't c if u got xvid it wil b in the list u wil also know exactly what codecs u have on ur machine for future :)
