I had several issues of cpu slowing itself down because of heat (Pentium 4 2,4 GHZ suddenly turning into a 884 MHz!).
I've opened my laptop and cleaned the fans and heatsink. There is a slight improvement in heat, but I fear it is not sufficient to insure a good (and durable) functionning of my laptop.
I've been looking around the interweb for solution when I stumbled upon this (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000YB7RQ/qid=1101300138/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/104-6595802-5066319?v=glance&s=electronics&n=507846).
So my question is are those external cooler any good, and if they are which one should I buy?
