i have a TI-83 Plus without a manual. i have some questions.

1) how do i reset the calculator?

2) how do i get games on the calculator and is there anything extra i need besides the calculator itself to do this (cords, etc)?

3) is there a site that has the complete manual .pdf for free?

thanks:)

1. Reset the memory on your calculator by pressing "2nd" then "MEM" which is the + key. Then choose "RESET" which is 7 by scrolling down or clicking the 7 key.

2. Choose 1, All RAM then 2, RESET on the next screen. A warning will be displayed that says, "Resetting RAM erases all data and programs from RAM."

3. A screen will be displayed that says "RAM cleared." Press "ENTER" and the word "DONE" will appear on the screen.

How else would you get softwae onto a calculator without a way of transfering it? If it was inferred you would need infered, if it was cable you would need cable...

u need the usb cable. you'll have to purchase it.

http://education.ti.com/us/product/accessory/connectivity/features/cables.html#usbwinmac

it's the first one on the list. You'll also need to download the ti-connect software - it's available on their site.

hehe...that wasn't there yesterday...teh black usb cable. Yes, you need the second one down. You don't need a specific app that plays games, you just need to dl some games. :)

Hit 2nd key then the "+" key then choose the second option down. :)

to get some games i recommend getting then from a friend who has game its easier that way.
for some games (the bests ones) you need an operating system (mirage os) for others like puzzel pack you dont need one
if you want to get games your self you need TI Connectivity USB Cable, the silver one for TI-83 Plus for around $15 and need the software that already has the TI-83 Plus manual and is for free

yes they work on both the only difference is that the TI-83 Plus has more storage space and more RAM
