I use proxy quite abit because its being paid by "another party" and i dont want them knowing all i do
and generally dislike possibilities of snooping of any form

I mean like... examples:

sometimes danB can't access the board and needs to use a proxy to get on.
sometimes i cant get onto my site for some reason and need to use a proxy.

I have to use one one as Rossco said to get on here and also another forum I visit sometimes. Other than that I don't really bother

I use a proxy if I don't trust a website, once I do then I don't bother with it.

Every now and then the board goes all fuckery for me. Its happened on t'other one for about the last week at the moment :(

I started to use aproxy to get on here because it would`nt let me on here without one a while ago and i`ve never really turned it off. :ph34r:

i have no idea what a proxy is... but i have a feeling that soon i'll have to learn about it...

if i use a proxy there's no way anybody (like the riia) can get to me or my isp???

will my isp be able to see what i do when im using a proxy???

ahh... i'll go and take a look at internet world to see if i cen find something about it...

when you use proxy programs you put that into the proxy settings...i suppose that could be what he's talking about. :unsure:
