I have made another clan website and I don't know how to upload my website. I uploaded the rar but all it does is make it so someone can download the file. :wacko: :helpsmili

Poor kid.

Of course you can only download the .rar file. That's all you can do with it when you upload it and then try to view it. The browser can't display the contents of the .rar. :lol: :lol: :lol:

no, u can upload them at once depending on what type of FTP you use. also, make sure you have you're index files and check to make sure your files are in the right places (subfolders, etc.) and check the code (html i'm guessing) and see if it links to the right files and make sure the filenames are correct.

He needs to know how to upload the site.

First you make sure you got the site working completely from the index.html

Then you just upload all the files with FTP app or whatever the site-provider
happens to prefer.

FTP would be easy to use, you can upload all the files with couple of
mouse clicks.

The index.html has to be the top file, just like the rar file was after you uploaded it allready.

btw. delete rar file from the server so no ppl can download it, and it
only takes space.

The site provider should have the Support section online where you can
find instructions how to upload the site. But i think you know how that works allready...
