I've been replacing all my old thrash cassettes with c.d.'s off k-lite.. Here's a few suggestions..

Forbidden (GREAT!!!!)
Wrathchild America
Anthrax
S.O.D.
M.O.D.
Raven
Toxic
Annihilator (album "Alice in Hell" and "Never Neverland")
Loudness (album "Thunder in the east", Lightning Strikes", and "Strike of the Sword")

Sword
Cyclone Temple
Fates Warning
Onslaught
Flotsam and Jetsam
Suicidal Tendencies
Mortal Sin (GREAT!!!)
Sacred Reich
and Testament...

Now if you're into Helloween??? There are some GREAT bands out now that are the same style, but with much better production....

Symphony X (GREAT!!!!)
Avantatia
Luca Turilli
Spiral Architect
Rhapsody
Vision Divine
Sonata Arctica (GREAT!!!)
Kamelot
Threshold (GREAT!!!)
and Andromeda (GREAT!!!!!!)

I hope this helps :D

How the fuck could no one mention KILLING JOKE?!?!!?!?!?

Download: Struggle, The Hum, Fall Of Because, Jana, Pilgrimage, Money Is Not Our God, Eighties, Sanity, to start you off. I guarentee you will love these guys if you don't know of them already. BTW Nirvana lifted the bass or guitar line for Come As You Are from there song "eighties".
