Formula, I think thats a pretty good piece of equipment you are planning.
But again, that´s just me,
I also come here for advice.

Mine is:

--80GB HD
--Intel Celeron 2.5 GHz
--Ram 128Mb
--DVD Burner 8x
--Floppy Unit
--17¨ ViewSonic Monitor
--3 Piece Powered Speaker Sistem
--Transparen sided black case
(the entire set is black)
--Windows Xp Pro.
--CloneDVD, AnyDVD. and PowerDVD
--Corel GraphicSuite 12
--3 fans total

and it cost me $398 Dlls (US) new as it is.
I think its a fair price,
what do you think?

Formula 1 - Nice specs, but could you raise the 350W Power Supply to 450 w/o a huge price change? I'm sure it's possible.

Edit*

Just found this...

A-Top XBlade Black/Silver Ultimate Gaming Machine With 450W PSU & Side window, Model "AT859A-BK" -RETAIL - $59.49

Hey mofos, you are not the first to say that,
but, why would you say that is so?

the celerons run slower than P4's and athlonx xp (64)'s of the same speed equivelence (ghz).

But cheaper.

Still i hate celerons.

Try to get a power supply that doesn't come with a case. The ones with cases are almost always shitty.
Higher wattage isnt always better. you nee dto buy good brands like enermax, thermal take, antec, fortron, etc.

Im planning on sticking with the Aspire 350w case cause i found out from a friend of mine , that it should be able to run my pc good , as long as i don't over clock everything in it ( only thing im overclocking is the amd 2800+ ). Later one as time goes by i'll probably buy a good psu (like the 480w thermal take which is 55$) . And also most fans with the come with cheapcases aren't known to be good.

And to worldpease i would also highly recommend not getting a a sempron, just about any pentium would be good (not sure how much they cost) but amd athlon are very good and cheaper than pentium. I would also recommend not getting some of those programs like colnedvd etc , and windows (if you are into p2p ) cause you'll save a 100 bucks , and you could use that to get some better specs. I think atlease a 256mb would be better, but overall i think you are paying the right amount of price for what you are getting.

yea Formula, I tought so too...
Still, Im very happy with my PC, It plays every game i´ve stuck into it,
great video, burns DVD perfectly,
for the moment, the only thing I would upgrade is the Ram.

Look into socket 939.

There are new 3000+ socket 939 Athlon 64 CPUs at reasonable prices.

You also don't need a DVD ROM drive if you have a DVD burner.

Is DFI a mobo Brand? And a noname PSU?

Is DFI a mobo Brand?
Yes they are.
The board in question was designed by Oscar Wu...well-known as the designer of the A7N8X-Dlx. for Asus, from whom he was lured (one presumes that money played a small part....) by DFI.

Yeah i decided to remove the dvd-rom cause basically copying/burning data directly from a cd is a useless because of copy right protection these days. And also i only do burning from my computer. About the amd 939 socket , i know that amd is no more making 754's , but i think i'll probably stick with the 754 cause its cheaper than 939 i guess ;)

nice system, but if you're getting a amd64 cpu, im guessing you want this to last a bit? if that's the case, i suggest getting something higher than the 9600xt.

P.S. i agree with celeron sucking. amd cpu at equal price of celeron is noticebly faster. im looking at a 2500 barton for $85 as oppose to a 2.4 celeron D at somewhere near $85. both are great ocing chip (well, not so much the 2500 now that its multiplier are locked) but at stock speed, the 2500 wins
