If you liked Seven then you'll probably enjoy Saw.

Try to avoid spoilers before watching it.

Seven and Saw should not be mentioned together in the same sentence. However, Saw was pretty decent, if not 100% predictable.

While I agree that Se7en shouldn't be thought if in the same capacity as Saw - because Saw is mediocre at best while Se7en is fantastic, I can't agree with the predictability.

In fact it was impossible to predict because the conclusion made no sense.

SPOILERS:

The Jigsaw guy being the 'dead' guy who lay without breathing between the badly acted doctor and the neurotic photographer for 8 hours would have been a surprise to anyone who knows that people's back/chest moves when the lungs inflate - no matter how slightly.

Also Zep's victim status was a bit of a shock since he mentally tortured the badly acted doctor's wife and child. There was no need for that, they were scared shitless anyway. Meh.

The more i think about it, the more I think that Saw sucked.

The thread starter mentioned both in his initial post and no-one batted an eyelid. :(

Did you see saw. If I had the choice now, in retrospect, I would not see saw. In fact most of those that saw saw may not wish to see saw ever again.

I saw saw at my mate's house, she'd seen saw before and was sure saw was good. I saw saw and was sure saw was poor.

This may be a sore point with those who saw saw and will never see saw again but they are making more saw so people can see more lore of saw. Though more saw will start to bore.

When I referred to Saw as predictible... I was referring to the ending, when the body in between them came to "life." Financially, the movie was a huge success, considering it cost almost nothing to make it.
