Why doersnt CSS Work.

It said i needed protocol 7. I downloaded the Css Update # 7 and it still says the same thing.

Css update 7 is not for the protocol update 7.

I do not know what that is for, but Emporio Update 6, fixes the Protocol 7 error. Just as Emporio Update 5 was for the protocol 6 error. I dont know what Emporio update 7 is for..

You dont need the 7th update for CSS. I dont even know what the 7th update is used for.

You first need to install patch 5, then patch 6, then patch 7. if you follow the nfo's you should be able to play it.

Patch 7 only fixes stuff for offline play.

1. Install Emporio 5 Update

2. Install Emporio 6 Update

3. Dont worry about the 7th update, you do not need it to play.

4. Play game.

I got my game working.

The reason it wasn't because the the update 6 didn't extract to the right catagories so i had to copy/paste the files my self.

Been playing the game for 2 days and its really good. I love going in fights and shooting the hell out of people. DUST 2 RULES!!

I installed update 5 and 6 in my CSS folder , and when I tried to join any server it would load then immediately close down, and once i installed update 7 it fixed my problem....

No you dont, I didnt use the 7th patch and it works fine. You only need 6, because it fixes the protocol 7 problem...Just like update 5 fixed protocol 6 problem. I have uninstalled Cs, and applied the 6th patch two times total so far, and have been able to play full online with all servers without using the 7th patch, you dont need it.

What was the point of 7 anways? Is it just to enable DM?? I have a tutorial from the Emporio forums, but some Korean guy wrote it, and I seem to be the only one who cannot make sense out of it.

It doesnt state anything in the "NFo". It just talks about how great Emporio is, and how to copy and paste files.

Okay it is merely a fix for those who need it, it still isnt required, and I dont understand why you would need it. But it is good that Emporio has this for people such as Formula 1 who might need it to play.:D
