Router Probs???

I have a linksys befw11s4 vs 4 router and I've already updated its frimware but it still disconnects me from the internet...I'm using cable...Is there something else I need to do to so it wont disconnect me? :helpsmili The longest I've been able to stay connected is 2 hrs.

Try some other firmware. Maybe the latest isn't the most stable.

I say this as that is the way it is with my linksys router. Mine is model BEFSR41 and the most stable is version 1.44.2 for my model.

Where do I go from there??? there is alot to choose from how do I tell which one to use?

Mine has a setting "renew ip forever (auto-reconnect)" which i had to enable otherwise i lost the connection every...half hour or something.
look around in the router setttings for something like that.
