hey everybody

i was thinking of starting up a league for people from this forum. probably counterstrike source or hl2 deathmatch (but maybe older games aswell ie red alert/ut2004 etc)

we good ahve leagues for beginners, advanced and pro's and set up matchs between each other to get league tables at the end of the month. you could then get promoted/relagated due on your performance

if one of the mods could pin it or make it a sticky thread/poll then it could run for ages till we found the best of the board!

looking for feedback really? shit idea? been done before and didnt work? is anyone bothered with the idea? - that sort of thing....

any replies would be appreciated as always

i was thinking a sub-forum where we could organise matches or post links to the server we'll be playing in at certain times

it seems even though we try we never get round to any matches

thats the plan thedave - its not helped by the fact that steam friends doesnt work properly (wankers....) and the fact that real life keeps gettting in the way!

at least other people seem to want to give it a go though - maybe we could sort something out

does anyone notice if it actually probes the game so if i join a game from within ASE it shows up that i'm playing on xfire?

I really like the idea. Yea, a sub-forum also would be nice.
