Loved? No question. Did they treat me well? I was a mouthy little brat as a kid, and managed to get spanked almost daily - and yes, I still think they treated me well. As far as explaining life... well, no, not really. I learned by making mistakes of my own. Both of my parents worked odd hours (mom afternoons and dad ran his own business in constructions) so by the age of 12 I pretty much took care of the house - and my brother.

I still talk to one or both of my parents almost everyday. :)
